Gafford Winter Wedding

Morgan and Sam Gafford

Naperville, IL Dec 2016

It seems as if Morgan and I were emailing frantically back and forth planning for these photos just yesterday. Morgan mentioned "winter wonderland" and I was hooked. I was looking forward to their wedding all year long. You know what? They got just that - a winter wonderland with a fresh snow right after their ceremony. Morgan and Sam's story is an amazing one, from going to school together to living in two different countries for a while, they've endured it all. The love they have just filled the room which made for an amazing celebration

The ceremony so genuine, Morgan's Sister Katie sang a few songs during. Her voice totally stole the show, there wasn't a dry eye in the chapel. It was such a nice personal touch to the whole ceremony. But really, I'm sure no one could ignore the way Sam looked at Morgan and just adored her in her ivory gown. (I wasn't crying, I wasn't crying!!!!)

Leaving the ceremony, everyone was so excited to get to the party and celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Gafford. Morgan created center pieces with old books and candles to set the mood. The old books paired with the greenery was breath taking, so classy and down to earth. Morgan's dad wrote a poem for her, which was perfect and so telling of their relationship.

Personally, I have never been in a sorority (or a fraternity, obviously) but apparently the group has a special song that's dedicated to them. Morgan and Sam, alum of Eureka College, were involved with Greek life. Together (with their brothers and sisters) they formed a circle and sang very very loudly to their dedicated songs, it was a sight to see!!

Morgan and Sam both deserve a special shout out for being an amazing couple and also tolerating all of my crazy photo ideas. Also, for not judging me when I climbed onto counters or small spaces :)
