Check out Jordan and Steve's wedding.

Church: St John's Lutheran Church Sand Prairie

Reception Hall: Contemporary Art Center Peoria, IL

"This has to be one of my favorite pictures yet. Nothing is better than a captured, genuine moment. This was one of my favorite parts of the day that I'll never forget. "Christina Perri - A Thousand Years" came on. Steven and I were dead tired, but we went and danced. It's one of my fav songs. That dance felt no one but us was at that reception. Thank you for capturing it. You couldn't have done a better job! Were so thankful we had you!"

The Hoefts know how to throw a party! This day was so exciting and the wedding party was so much fun to work with. We spent all morning at the church getting ready and rounding everyone up for formal photos. I took the Bridal Party to the Spring Lake Nature Reserve in Manito to shoot photos which worked perfectly with the chic sequin bridesmaid dresses Jordan chose. Jordan looked so amazing in her dress that I took some extra time to do bridal portraits of her. We knocked out all of the scheduled photos before the ceremony, which made the rest of the day go so fast. During the ceremony when asked for the rings, Steve got out a ring pop and everyone was cracking up. Right after the ceremony, everyone drove to Peoria to celebrate. The reception hall was decorated so beautifully and all the details were perfect. Instead of the dollar dance, the DJ had Jordan and Steve run around and collect money! Whoever had the most money by the end, won. I'm not exactly sure who won, but I think Steve used their daughter Madison to his whole advantage. The whole day was perfect and I am so honored to take such a great part in it.
